Good Choice

Mat is sso much more fun then the rest of the other characters because he mainly jokes around, but still he is kinda boring, and all perrin does is talk about how much he loves Faile. And rand is soo serious I mean what happened to the farmer boy?

I think that Since Semirhage had injured his hand using the fire it might have hindered the balefire's ability to erase Semirhage's attack. But I also agree with @Mat Farshaw that he could have not burned her back long enough.
