Adine Canford is an Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah.
Appearance[]
Adine is a plump Andoran with blue eyes and short black hair.
Abilities[]
Adine is very weak in the One Power, with a strength level of 34(22). This is marginally above Siuan Sanche's strength after she was healed from Severing. Moiraine describes her as "not very strong in the Power".[1]
History[]
Adine is 95 years old. She was born in 905 NE and she went to the White Tower in 920 NE. After spending twelve years as a novice and eleven years as Accepted, she was raised to the shawl in 943 NE.
She becomes close friends with Siuan Sanche and Moiraine Damodred just after they are raised to the shawl. She was also friends with Leane Sharif, who introduced them to one another. Moiraine places a level of trust in her, and thinks she is not at all arrogant "for an Andoran".
She receives reports on behalf of Moiraine from her agents, including Nieda Sidoro.
Activities[]
She has allied herself with the Salidar Aes Sedai during the split with the White Tower. She taught novice classes.
