An Air Pulse ter'angreal is a ter'angreal enhancing the abilities of a channeler's offensive attacks that use weaves of Air. It is only known to have survived the Breaking of the World in the Mirror World inhabited by Elayna Sedai.
Appearance[]
The Fireball ter'angreal appears as a figurine with blue skin, whose face is making an expression that appears as if it is about to blow a large amount of air.
Use[]
The Air Pulse ter'angreal is somewhat like an angreal, but has a specific purpose of enhancing offensive weaves of Air in particular. This is useful for channelers relatively weak in the One Power, or weak in Air in particular, who can thus use the ter'angreal to enhance their blasts of Air in combat.
Unlike certain offensive ter'angreal, the Air Pulse ter'angreal is considerably reliable, and it can be used an unlimited amount of times without its use triggering a dormant period.[1]
History[]
In a Mirror World, a novice named Elayna took her Accepted test, and found an Air Pulse ter'angreal while in the second ring of the silver arches, during her time trapped in a basement of a powerful Darkfriend. She found this necessary to use in order to destroy several blockades in her escape from the fabricated situation.
Elayna specialized in the use of ter'angreal as an Aes Sedai, given her relative weakness in the One Power. She set out with an Air Pulse ter'angreal from the White Tower storeroom in her quest to stop a plot orchestrated by Darkfriends, Shadowspawn, and the Black Ajah.[1]
