He is a lean, dangerous looking man. His long hair is held back with a hadori.
History
He used to be in the Kandori army. He is a year or two younger than Lan Mandragoran.
Activities
Andere greeted Lan in Canluum when he was travelling with Bukama Marenellin. Bukama berated him for having sworn fealty to a Kandori lord.
He, Nazar Kurenin, and Rakim all meet up with Lan and Bulen along the Plain of Lances. They travel in front of Lan until he finally accepts them into his company. He introduces Weilin Aldragoran and his company to Lan, increasing Lan's camp to many. He assures Lan that no one broke their oath when they get to the Silverwall Keeps and find a gathering of thousands awaiting Lan. Lan's army finally arrives at Tarwin's Gap and is around twelve thousand strong. They encounter a Trolloc army of one hundred fifty thousand. Lan then leads a charge into the Blight, not as the Aan'allein, but as the King of Malkier. As such, it can be presumed he is part of the High Guard of Malkier.
Lan's much smaller force is gradually pushed backwards through the Gap. Their army has caused massive amounts of damage to the Trolloc army, but unfortunately Lan's army has been cut in half at the same time. Andere suffers a horrific body wound during one of the conflicts, but continues to ride beside Lan. Lan's army fully retreats out of the Gap and has one final charge when suddenly Borderlander reinforcements from the Field of Merrilor arrive through gateways. Lan sends Andere back to receive Healing. Andere soon returns to the front lines. They toast fallen comrades at the end of their battle shift.
As the army is retreating, Lan leads a quick hit and run, while the Trollocs are not ready. Andere is pulled down in the chaos and Lan rides to his aid. He rescues Andere and sends him back for Healing. He rallies around Lan when a cloud of blackness covers the sun. He still fights with Lan when Dreadlords re-enter the battle, and begin weaving lighting on their forces.
It is not stated whether he survived the battle or not.
