Annharid Matoun is an Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah.[1]
Appearance and Personality[]
She is about 5'5" tall, with coppery skin, dark brown eyes and black hair. She is a little stocky, but not heavy.
A forceful woman, not particularly arrogant for a Yellow, but strong-willed and determined, she did not suffer fools gladly
Abilities[]
Her strength is described by "The Wheel of Time Companion" as 17(5). This makes her relatively high-ranking in the Aes Sedai hierarchy and able to Travel unaided. Being of the Yellow Ajah also means that she has some skill with Healing.
History[]
Annharid was born in 894 NE and went to the White Tower in 909 NE. After spending eight years as a novice and six years as Accepted, she was raised to the shawl in 923 NE.
Activities[]
She has allied herself with the Salidar Aes Sedai and is one of the Rebel Spies sent back to the White Tower to spread the rumor that the Red Ajah set Logain up as a False Dragon[2].
Zerah Dacan betrayed her unwillingly, along with the other spies, when she was questioned by Pevara Tazanovni and Seaine Herimon[3].
Celestin is currently working with Annharid on Yukiri's orders as a result of this to find more about Atuan Larisett's friends in order to see who else might be members of her Heart[4].
When Meidani is freed from her oath of obedience, it can be assumed Annharid was as well.
