—Antol, Prince of Kandor[1]
Antol is the eldest son of Queen Ethenielle Kirukon Materasu and Brys Noramaga, "Prince Brys" of Kandor. He is the heir of the throne of Kandor.
Appearance[]
Antol is tall, with a silent way about him.
History[]
He was born in 964 NE and has been the heir to the Throne of the Clouds since birth. He is the eldest of eight siblings.[2][3]
He married a Kandori noblewoman.[4] His son is Prince Kaisel Noramaga.[5]
He is in southern Kandor with his mother when his father Brys and his brother Diryk are killed by the Black Ajah.[6]
Activities[]
He sends his son, Prince Kaisel, to join Lan Mandragoran in raising the Golden Crane.[5]
Antol's mother Ethenielle leaves him in charge of the Kandori forces at the Field of Merrilor, while she returns to Kandor, which has been lost to the Shadow. He signs the Dragon's Peace in her stead. Antol is in attendance at Elayne Trakand's initial war-council, where it is decided that the army will fight on four fronts led by the four Great Generals. Antol and the rest of the Borderlander army will fight at Tarwin's Gap. He advised that forces should concentrate on the Andoran battlefront, as Kandor had already fallen. [4][7]
