Aranvor Naldwinn served as the Captain-General of the Queen's Guards of Andor between 975 and 979 NE chosen by the new enthroned queen Morgase Trakand.
History[]
During the Aiel War, Naldwinn assumed command of the 28,000 Andoran troops Morgase sent to aid her erstwhile ally, King Laman Damodred of Cairhien. This contingent formed part of the Grand Alliance of nations which assembled outside Tar Valon to turn back the Aiel onslaught. Lord Aranvor commanded the Alliance on the third day of the Battle of the Shining Walls and was killed while leading his troops into battle.
