Azil Mareed was the High Captain of the Tower Guard around the time of the Aiel War.
History
He was adviser to Marya Somares, the White Tower's representative on the council of the Grand Alliance, but was not actually on the council himself.[1] He sent reports to Tamra Ospenya at regular intervals, but the contents were not shared with anyone but full sisters, if even with them.
