Berin Thane is a Two Rivers resident. He is the brother of Jon Thane.

He helps defend Emond's Field against the invading Trolloc army.[1]
He is one of the Two Rivers men to follow Perrin Aybara into Ghealdan. He falls asleep at his post while on guard duty and has to be woken by Perrin.
