Major Houses of Andor

The Major Houses of Andor are the greatest 19 Noble Houses in this kingdom. To obtain the throne a Queen candidate needs to gain the support of the majority of them (ten Houses) and even so the Queen rules with a lot of difficulties, if a considerable number of the other Houses is fiercely against her. To became Queen Morgase Trakand obtained the support of twelve Major Houses (counting also her House Trakand); her daughter Elayne fourteen.
