At the Eye of the World when the Green Man first sees Rand al'Thor he calls him a Child of the Dragon.
When Rand asks him what does he mean, Someshta, touching his wounded head explains that his memories are torn and he himself is unsure.
Second reference[]
Rand, – in his seventh vision in the glass forest ter'angreal of Rhuidean, being Jonai the Da'shain Aiel, – meets Someshta in one of the room of the Hall of the Servants just before the Nym gets the task from the Aes Sedai to guard the Eye of the World. Someshta's head is wounded, he has lost part of his memories, he doesn't recognise Jonai. The Aiel sadly tells him they are friends since his childhood.
