He holds the Malvide Narrows and the Molvaine Gap. Matrim Cauthon outmaneuvers him at the Molvaine Gap (peppering the Seanchan forces in Altara with attacks), causing Chisen to bring his forces away from defending it. He brings his forces to reinforce the Seanchan forces that are being attacked in Altara.
