She is slender with a pretty face.
Strength and Abilities[]
Derys is not very strong in the One Power, at level 41(29) by TWoTC but at this level she was strong enough to become Aes Sedai (even if in one of the lowest ranks).
This strength is not enough to open suitable gateways for Traveling.
History[]
During her training as a novice Derys was put out of the White Tower because she kept breaking the rules on taking male lovers.
Activities[]
When Elayne Trakand and Nynaeve al'Meara are deposited in the Kin's house by Setalle Anan, Derys is being punished for wanting to marry and is acting as a maid.
She is one of the many Kin who have gone to live in the Caemlyn Palace. She finds Mirane Larinen's doll and links this to her being murdered.
