Diryk was the second-eldest son of Ethenielle Kirukon Materasu and Prince Brys of Kandor.

History[]
Somehow he survived a fifty foot fall without breaking a bone. Unfortunately this cast suspicion on whether he could channel or not. Merean Redhill threw him off a higher balcony thinking he may be the Dragon Reborn. He did not survive the fall this time.
It is explained as he was a victim of the male channeler pogrom, and his father died trying to protect him. Merean was an Aes Sedai of the Black Ajah.
