Elansu is the shatayan of the Fal Dara keep in Shienar.
History[]
Like most shatayan, she enjoys high status and does not expect to be spoken against from anyone, including the lord she serves.
Her male counterpart and supposed equal, Ronan the shambayan, is old and slightly frail, further increasing her level of authority.
Appearance[]
She has a stern face and black hair. Although never stated, it is likely that her hair is drawn back in a bun to emphasize her authority.
Activities[]
She informs Rand al'Thor of the new clothes that have been made for him on Moiraine Sedai's orders. She is as amused as any other woman in the keep at Rand's embarrassment for the free-spirited Shienaran customs.[1]
