Fera Sormen is an Aes Sedai of the White Ajah, who is secretly a member of the Black Ajah.[1][2]

She was born in 864 NE, and went to the White Tower in 882 NE. She spent 13 years as a novice and 9 as Accepted.
Activities[]
She was on the White Tower secret expedition to kidnap Rand al'Thor in Cairhien.
She was taken prisoner by the Asha'man at Dumai's Wells[3] and has sworn fealty to Rand al'Thor[4]. However, unlike the other Aes Sedai, her oath was a lie.[2]
Elza Penfell and Fera travel together from Tar Valon to Cairhien. They discover that they share a dark allegiance[1].
It is presumed that Fera, along with the other Black Ajah prisoners, was Compelled by Verin Mathwin to serve Rand and ensure that he doesn't die until the Last Battle[5]. However, the Wheel of Time Companion reveals that Fera's oath to serve Rand was a lie, allowed by her Black Ajah affiliation and foreswearing of the Three Oaths. This would mean that Verin's compulsion failed; indeed, requirements for Verin's compulsion to work were that the subject trusted Verin and could find a reason within herself to follow Verin's orders. It would have been easy for Fera to overcome either of these conditions.
