Feragaine Saralman was an Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah who was raised to the Amyrlin Seat in the year 732 NE.[1]
History[]
Feragaine held the position for twenty-two years until her death in 754 NE. She was Marasale Jureen's successor and Myriam Copan's predecessor.[2]
Feragaine was in large part a puppet of the Hall, as her predecessor Marasale, she was chosen because the Sitters thought she was easily controlled by them, in fact in large part it happened.
She made some effort to restore her power and authority but was almost always outmanoeuvred. Her interests as in many from the Blue Ajah lay outside the White Tower and its politics and she floundered badly in the treacherous currents of the Hall.
During her reign the legendary Sereille Bagand was selected as Sitter by the White Ajah, showing her remarkable qualities in a so influential Hall.
