Floran Gelb is a sailor, formerly a crew member aboard Bayle Domon's ship, Spray.[1]
Appearance
He is a narrow faced man with a long nose.
Activities
He failed to keep watch during that vulnerable night when the Spray was attacked by Trollocs. This was the same night that Thom Merrilin, Rand al'Thor and Matrim Cauthon arrived onboard, under attack.[2]
After Gelb tried to turn the crew against the three travelers, Domon discharged him from his crew in Whitebridge. He gave Rand and the others a look of pure hatred as he left.[3]
He later turned up in Tanchico, working with Egeanin to recover a'dam and women who could channel.[4] He and his men try to capture Nynaeve al'Meara and Elayne Trakand. Egeanin steps in to help the two girls and ends up beating up Gelb and his men.[5]
