Gardeners are Ogier that serve in the Seanchan Deathwatch Guard. They wear the same red and dark green armor as the human Guard and carry long-hafted, black-tasseled axes.[1] In contrast to the human Guard, Gardeners are not da'covale to the Empress. A rank of the Gardeners is First Gardener, held by Hartha.[2]
