Gorderan was a Redarm in the Band of the Red Hand that accompanies Mat Cauthon.
Appearance[]
He is a thick shouldered, heavily muscled man of about 5'10. His shoulders were nearly as broad as Perrin's, and he also had a heavy chest. He has gray eyes and black hair, and fair skin for a Tairen.
He was about 35 years old.
History[]
He is noted as being the second best swordsman among these men. Despite his bulk, he is quite fast.
Activities[]
In Ebou Dar he is one of the few Redarms to survive the gholam attack looking for the Bowl of the Winds. He then stays in the Tarasin Palace with the rest of the surviving Redarms. Mat sends him to meet him outside the city when Mat carries out his plan of escaping with the captive Aes Sedai.
He then travels with Mat in Valan Luca's Traveling Show as cover for their escape. He is part of the group that chase Renna Emain after she stabbed Egeanin Tamarath and tries to flee to the town of Coramen. He shoots Renna with his crossbow, stopping her from reporting their group to the Seanchan.
When the gholam attempts to flee the Band's camp outside Caemlyn, Gorderan and Fergin try and cut off its escape despite Mat's warnings to flee. It casually rips out their throats as it passes.
