Gray fennel is a fast-acting herb used frequently by assassins. It was used by the Wisdom, Malena, in Nynaeve's testing to kill Bran al'Vere, and also by those who tried to assassinate Queen Elayne. Their knives were tipped with the deadly poison and powdered peach pit. Sadly, not much else is known about it other than the eyes and tongue of the victims are abnormal after death.
