Lady Ines Demain is a Kandori noblewoman living in Chachin, capital of Kandor.

History

Lady Ines gave birth to her son, Rahien near the end of the Aiel War. She is on Moiraine Damodred's list of women who might have given birth to the Dragon Reborn. When Moiraine arrives in Chachin, and later in the Aesdaishar Palace, she discovers that Lady Ines' husband recently died and she is in mourning and seclusion for a month. Siuan Sanche tries to get close to the Lady Ines, without much success. Soon after the devastation caused by the Black Ajah, Moiraine learns that Ines gave birth in a farmhouse two miles from Dragonmount on the day of Gitara Moroso's Foretelling.
