Iona is a sul'dam and the roommate of Bethamin Zeami in Ebou Dar.[1]

She is one of the two others that Bethamin shares a room with in The Golden Swans of Heaven in Ebou Dar.
When Almurat Mor asks Bethamin if she has any wine or brandy, she replies that Iona has a flask of the local brandy; Almurat tells her to pour him some.
