Location
The River Ivo is a remote and little-known river which flows westwards out of the Black Hills and meets the Arinelle east of the Mountains of Mist. The river is surrounded by heavy forests on both sides which extend for hundreds of miles between Saldaea and Andor.
The area's extreme remoteness and lack of human settlement has made it popular with the Ogier, who inhabit no less than four stedding in this region: Shamendar, Taishin, Leitiang and Tsochan. All four of these stedding are located in the forests north of the river.
