Lairain is an Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah.[1]
Appearance[]
She is short and toad-like. She has curly hair.[2]
History[]
It is likely that she is a librarian, as Egwene al'Vere thinks of her as one of the Brown sisters who spent her life "roaming the back library stacks and only surfaced once a century or so to recite instructions to prospective Amyrlins".[2] Once a century is likely an exaggeration, but the rest is possibly true.
Activities[]
She instructs Egwene on the proper procedure when going through the raising of a new Amyrlin Seat. Egwene had never met her before.[2]
