Making ter'angreal is a Talent regarding the ability to create a ter'angreal. While this ability has been lost to the White Tower for some time, some Seanchan damane are valued for their ability to create a'dam.
This ability allows a person to both create a completely new ter'angreal or to copy one which already exists. Examples of the latter would include a number of Sleepweavers formerly in the possession of the Rebel Aes Sedai, a'dam, and the Seanchan replications of the Domination Band. Copies of the Sleepweavers are not as effective as the real one for when the user is in Tel'aran'rhiod they seem transparent. An improvement made in the a'dam shows that the collar and bracelet can work without the leash.
