Mirane Larinen was a member of the Kin.[1]
History[]
When she first went to the White Tower as a novice, she brought and hid her doll outside.
At some unknown date, Mirane was put out of the Tower. She retrieved her doll from its hiding place, implying that she was still young enough to care about retrieving a doll. We don't know why she was dismissed.
She developed a habit of carrying the doll to every new location where she settled, hiding and retrieving it when it was time to move on. This seems to have become a superstition with her.
By the time of the books, "[the doll] was very old. The simple dress threadbare, the painted face flaking and missing an eye, half of its long dark hair gone." Given the condition of the doll and that she had moved several times, as is usual for the Kin every couple of decades, we can assume both the doll and Kerane were quite old.
Activities[]
She was one of the Kin to Travel from Ebou Dar to Caemlyn. Mirane was reported to have run away from Caemlyn. Derys Nermala found her doll and came to the conclusion that Mirane was murdered.
She was killed by Careane Fransi of the Black Ajah.
