Nae'blis

The title of Nae'blis is promised to the one who will rule the world one step below the Dark One, ruling over all the rest of the Chosen as well as the lands. All the Chosen contend for this position of great importance, and the Dark One himself has mentioned it to some as a possibility. Recently, however, the man who calls himself Moridin seems to have claimed it, with the blessing of the Great Lord of the Dark. Many of his companions still wait for an opportunity to bring him down and raise themselves in his place, but none are willing to oppose him openly.

The word "nae'blis" is likely derived from the name Iblis or Eblis. Origins of the Wheel of Time calls him "a name of the Devil walking the world in Islamic tradition".
