Remen is a village in Altara, located in the northeast of the country on the Lugard Road where it crosses the River Manetherendrelle.

An inn called Wayland's Forge is located in Remen, owned by Gainor Furlan. A healer named Mother Leich also lives in Remen.
Activities[]
When Moiraine Damodred, Lan Mandragoran, Perrin Aybara and Loial are crossing the continent from Falme to Tear, they pass through Remen. Perrin smells a stench that he later associates with Gray Men.[1] Later, the group flees Remen because Perrin frees Gaul and killed some Whitecloaks. Faile Bashere joins the group at Remen.[2]
