Shana Goridien is an Aes Sedai of the White Ajah[1].
Appearance and Abilities[]
She has bulging eyes and reminds Elayne of a fish. She always looks startled, although she normally maintains a deep reserve.
Shana is relatively weak in the One Power. Her level of strength is described by "The Wheel of Time Companion" as 35(23) which is a quite low level in Aes Sedai hierarchy. She matches Siuan Sanche's strength level after she was Healed for her stilling.
Although weak in the One Power, she is an expert at reading residues[2].
History[]
Shana is 118 years old. She was born in 882 NE and went to the White Tower in 898 NE. After spending eleven years as a novice and nine years as Accepted, Shana was raised to the shawl in 918 NE.
Activities[]
She has joined with the Salidar Aes Sedai[1].
Shana was one of the Aes Sedai that cornered Aviendha when she arrived in Salidar and who wanted to put her in novice white.
She is part of the group[3] that is sent to where the Cleansing of saidin occurred, because they are expert at reading residues. Some time after they report that they found a large hole where Shadar Logoth used to be[2].
