Swallow was a glossy black mare of Tairen stock.
Activities[]
Soon after arriving at the Stone of Tear, Faile purchased Swallow.[1] Swallow carried Faile from Tear, through the Ways and into the Two Rivers.[1][2] Both Tamlin al'Thor and Abell Cauthon admired Stepper and Swallow before they walked with Perrin in Emond's Field.[3] Swallow later journeyed with Faile from Emond's Field up to Watch Hill to rescue prisoners of the Whitecloaks.[4] Faile later left the Two Rivers on Swallow to go to Caemlyn with Perrin and a group of Two Rivers men.[5] When Rand al'Thor had Perrin and Faile Travel to Cairhien, the Two Rivers men followed them to the city with Swallow and Stepper.[6] When Perrin's group Traveled to Ghealdan, Faile brought Swallow.[7] Swallow and Stepper carried Faile and Perrin while they scouted Bethal.[7] Swallow was later killed when Faile was taken gai'shain by the Shaido Aiel.[8]
