I was under the impression that there was some large amount of subterfuge being practiced by Rand and Perrin; a decision had been made that they would act as though they were experiencing discord, the idea being that the bad guys would leave Perrin alone if he was at odds with the Dragon Reborn. Yup. The "fight" they had was staged. However, in ACOS 33, Rand got so angry and Perrin's reactions that he got so mad that he nearly killed Perrin. Perrin has a speech about it in this chapter. ---- Willie - HtS 00:22, September 14, 2010 (UTC)
