Unfortunately...[]

The line at the end that starts with "Unfortunately..." I have two problems with it: 1.) Why use the value-laden "unfortunately?" I'm not sure that the men pledging themselves to Rand is an unfortunate thing, and 2.) This last line has very little to do with Agelmar. Does it even belong in this article?

  • I think the intended meaning is:
It's unfortunate for Lord Agelmar that his men decided the Dragon Reborn freed them from their old oaths and did not return to serve him.
This doesnt' strike me as an unreasonable characterization, but if you think it's too value-laden you're welcome to remove it. As for relevance to the article, I don't see a reason why we wouldn't want to mention that the men he ordered to retrieve the horn ended up serving Rand afterward. It seems like useful context given that there's not much more we have to say about Agelmar. --Gherald 21:16, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
