Breaking Egwene

In KoD, Tarna tells Elaida how often Egwene is being sent to Silviana. Elaida specifically says that she doesn't want Egwene broken. Elaida wants Egwene to be a novice and to finish her training as she should. Moridin 2000 20:22, 4 November 2008 (UTC) Moridin_2000

Was Elaida ever a Sitter? I just thought she was Morgase's adviser, and was made Amyrlin directly from there. The only reason I'm asking is that it's listed in her categories. Puragus Talk 18:46, November 3, 2009 (UTC)

That's how Elaida was a part of deposing Siuan, she was one of the three Sitters of the Red Adjah (Teslyn Baradon and Pevara Tazanovni included) who voted to depose Siuan. Javindhra Doraille took her place as sitter once Elaida became Amyrlin. -Random.

This confused me too but apparently she became a Sitter briefly after she brought Elayne to Tar Valon. This was confirmed in a Tor Q&A I guess, but I think she only appears as a Sitter in the chapter in which Siuan is deposed. 20:09, August 21, 2012 (UTC)

Three Oaths?

I don't know whether this has been brought up before or not, but with the scenes in TGS I spotted something similar in TSR, there's a small section in one of the chapters depicting a novice/accepted during her penance on a farm. She's visited by an Aes Sedai asking over the Amrylin and 'Elmindreda', she uses the Power on her and eventually kills her, while I can name several Black Sisters who'd do it, who would have-at that time-have asked over Min? I figure that Elaida was either insane from the moment go or she never did use the Oath Rod.Lightningbarer 20:44, November 30, 2009 (UTC)
