The last sentence in the first paragraph of this article makes no sense unless the original author meant "according" instead of "concerning." Comments?Pedantic 18:28, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

I think there is a mistake here. The WOT Encyclopedia says LTT and Ilyena married 50 years before the War of the Shadow, yet the Bore was supposedly made ~100 years before that point. This implies they married ~50 years after the Bore.

weird[]

weird, why so obsessed with her(and only her) when he also killed all his children too?

That's a very good question, and one I presume we shall never receive the answer to.

The triple question of Sunhair's names[]

First of all, I consider it probable that men and women were allowed to choose who would take the surname of the other upon marrying. A patriarchal system seems far too off the gender equality that otherwise ruled in the Age of Legends and is only slightly flawed in the Third Age.

Secondly, I believe that Dalisar must have been Ilyena's original surname and not third name. If I married in the Age of Legends, I think I'd rather take the name of my spouse and keep my coveted third name, don't you agree? So Dalisar must have been Ilyena's second name, and Moerelle her coveted third. How this can be I am unsure of; however, it has never been proved that it isn't Damendar in Nemene Damendar Boann that was Semirhage's third name, nor that Bel in Barid Bel Medar wasn't Demandred's third. This would make more sense, I think, if the coveted third name was infused between the first and second names and moved to the back of the line upon marrying.

And finally, how about this theory: Ilyena earned her third name for her skill in making people feel welcome and converse them. Just your thoughts.
