saidar and saidin[]

Should we have separate pages for saidar and saidin? I don't believe we have enough information on them both for them to have distinct different articles. Narvi 14:23, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)

I dunno, I think the distinctions between the two make enough for complete, if relatively short, pages. The history of the taint on saidin, and the difference in the ways weaves are handled with each power, could pull a lot of good information out of this article into something more specific. Plus, we're going to have 4637158 links to saidar and saidin, and I hate having redirects for something that major (IMO). nae'blis (talk) 16:58, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
I don't see any problem with the current glossary-like soft redirects to this article. If and when this grows too long we can come up with a way to split it up.. hopefully there will be better options than saidin and saidar. --Gherald 20:24, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)

True Power[]

I have removed the statement about the True Power mixing with saidin causing the taint. Has this theory been confirmed, or is it still speculation? Anybody? - Elliot N 15:24, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

Split pages[]

This page is very long and has differing levels of usefulness and detail. I would broadly suggest splitting according to the main sections here and looking at summarising where possible. The One Power listings would be best on another page at the very least, but want to open this up for discussion. Moridin_2000 (talk) 23:44, 30 June 2021 (UTC)

Note 16 is incorrect[]

"This seems to contradict information from AMOL, where Annoura opened a Gateway to rescue Galad. As her strength was never commented on in the books though, it is possible that she linked with someone."

It is noted at the section of AMOL where Annoura is found to have opened a Gateway to rescue Galad that she burned herself out in doing so, thus proving that her limit was less than the amount needed to open a Gateway. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Auryyxx (talkcontribs) 23:33, 24 January 2022 (UTC)

Also channelers in circles can't be burned out, so she couldn't have been linked while she did it. I removed that reference. -- kazerniel (talk | contribs) 23:44, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
