Prehistory[]
When is it said that we specifically built the Portal Stones in the first age?
New year redirects[]
Just in case anyone else needs to make a redirect from a year page to this one, here is the process.
The year entry on the Timeline page needs a "cite id." Copy the following code and paste it after the year's entry:
<cite id="%%% &&"> </cite>
The %'s need to be replaced with the year. The &'s need to be replaced with the era's abbriviation. In the case of the Free Years, the "FY" goes before the number. Make sure you include the space between the two. This will create an "anchor" point on the page for the redirect.
Next, you will need to create a redirect. Copy the following code and paste it on the redirect page:
#REDIRECT [[Timeline#%%% &&]] [[Category:Timeline redirects]]
Again, the %'s and &'s need to be replaced and the FY's need to be swapped. This page will then redirect to the "Timeline" page and automatically take you to the year's entry as well as put the redirect page in the proper category.
If, on the Timeline page, there is a range of years, multiple cite id tags can be put on one line. Each redirect with go to that area.
You can do this in either order, but the redirect won't work properly until the cite id tag is added.
Please let me know if you have any questions. ---- Willie - HtS 20:44, June 23, 2010 (UTC)
Lews Therin's Birth[]
According to Rand in the Towers of Midnight, Lews Therin was born approximately 400 years before the breaking. The big white book says he was born 300 years before the breaking. In this case, the Towers of Midnight info takes precedence over the info from TWoRJWT, right? MegaZeroX 15:46, December 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, IIRC, Lews Therin himself says how old he was at the Breaking, so that should be taken as fact. The BWB would be in error. Moridin_2000 (talk) 14:51, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
