The Evening Star is an inn located in the Kandori capital of Chachin. It is a respectable establishment made of stone and consisting of three stories. It caters mostly to merchants of middling success and rank and is popular with women, particularly of the Kandori Merchants' Guild who find more male-oriented inns noisy and tiresome. Because of its popularity with merchants, the inn employs guards and has a strong-room for the storage of high-value items and funds.
Moiraine Damodred and Siuan Sanche stayed at the inn briefly in 979 NE during their hunt for the Dragon Reborn. The innkeeper, Ailene Tolvina, proved helpful in their attempts to infiltrate Kandori society.[1]
