Turanine Merdagon was an Aes Sedai.[1]
Appearance[]
She had straight white hair which fell to her waist. She had a strong face with dark tilted eyes and a hooked nose. She had a memorable deep voice.
Her appearance suggests she may have been Saldaean. This is, however, never confirmed.
History[]
Given her white hair, she is likely to have been well over 200 years old at the time of her death. This would place her as having enrolled in the White Tower around the time of Gitara Moroso and several of the Knitting Circle.
She died forty years ago, when Beonin was still Accepted.
Ghostly apparition[]
Beonin sees Turanine's ghost while Traveling to Tar Valon.
