Vacuole

A vacuole is a bubble in the Pattern where time flows differently. They can sometimes be entered and manipulated much like the rest of the world. However, they are really outside the Pattern and can sometimes close up, or break off and drift away, leaving whatever is inside the vacuole gone forever. Time flows differently in vacuoles, sometimes slower, and sometimes much faster, though it's said that researchers had done great experiments in vacuoles during the Age of Legends. An example of a vacuole could be the Bore, in which the Dark One is held.

Moghedien was held in a vacuole and punished by the Dark One for an unspecified period of time after her rescue from Salidar.
