Varil Nensen is an Asha'man Soldier from Tarabon.[1]

He is young with dark eyes and thick mustaches covered by a transparent veil.
Activities[]
When he was a Soldier Asha'man and Rand vaguely remembers seeing him when he was handing out the first silver sword and dragon pins.
During the war in northern Altara, he fights in the battle against the Seanchan; during the campaign Nensen makes a report outside Illian to Rand al'Thor: the enemy troops are thirty miles west of them during their skirmishes.
He has gone back to reside in the Black Tower and is now one of Mazrim Taim's special students. He has improved out of sight with use of the One Power since taking the special lessons and has been promoted to Asha'man.
At the Last Battle, he has been bonded by Alviarin Freidhen, and fights alongside her and several other of Taim's lackeys and Black sisters. Through a cleverly designed trap, Nensen, Alviarin and the others are tricked by Androl Genhald and Pevara Tazanovni into entering Stedding Sholoon, where they are taken captive by the Ogier residents.
He is presumed to be alive and a captive of Stedding Sholoon.
