The Waygate Foundation is a fan-led charity (501(c)(3)) that seeks to "support and engage science fiction and fantasy authors and fans in global philanthropic endeavors". it incorporated in 2011, following the informal efforts of founding members in favious charity efforts on behalf of or in the name of the Wheel of Time series. At this time, the Waygate Foundation exists to facilitate and direct science fiction and fantasy charity efforts, whether they are connected to the Wheel of Time or not.
