Summary[]

Tylin and Suroth leave the palace to tour Altara so Mat plots with Thom, Juilin, and Beslan to escape from Ebou Dar. He has a challenging task just getting himself, Thom, Juilin and the Redarms away to Luca's travelling show. But he also promised to get Teslyn, Joline and Edesina out of the city also and the Seanchan have made it nearly impossible for anyone that can channel to leave the city.
Mat starts by asking Juilin to get him an a'dam, three damane dresses and one sul'dam dress. Juilin protests of course that he is not a thief, but agrees since he wants to leave with one of Suroth's da'covale. Tuon continues to stalk Mat but doesn't speak to him. The servants understand what he is about and try to hamper is efforts. Beslan plans to start an uprising against the Seanchan as a distraction to help Mat's escape. Unfortunately no one is having luck getting the things they need especially women to impersonate sul'dam. Finally Juilin gets the dresses and the a'dam but nothing else is ready.
