Zera is the innkeeper at The Bunch of Grapes in the Foregate district of Cairhien.[1] Despite the inn's location she is herself not actually Cairhienin. [2]

Zera cautioned Thom about getting involved in the Game of Houses.[2] When Thom killed King Galldrian's men for murdering Dena, Zera offered to take care of the bodies while Thom sought revenge.[3]
